Why... cursed font! Why?
Help join in the cause to ban comic sans. See, I post this to spread the word, thus increasing my "number of causes currently participating in" level without actually doing any sort of work. Anyway, I'm more of a Helvitica Narrow fan myself.

My theory is bigger than yours
Sure, she has a pretty nice theory about space-time, but how does it stand up against my theory about Toby Macguire? Only time will tell I guess... which is pretty circular, since that is exactly what her, I, Randy and Toby are trying to prove. Thus we are eventually brought back to the inevitable question of how much a Kit-Kat and a can of Minute Maid (Orange mind you) are really worth.
I would venture to guess one physicist's soul (plus or minus n souls of course).
Man your stations!
And prepare ye for war. Though I think this would definintely work better with frozen oranges. Nothing beats a frozen orange to the junk. Am I right? Am I right?
In other news... Hot Tub Al also rules. Skate or Die man!

Pretty good read...
Though it takes about an hour, this is a great story about some guy exploring a local cave with some buddies.

I just really liked these photos from modbuster.

A fun filled time for all!
So, studying for my big Thermo exam tonight, and I had a hankering for some 3D Pong. Turns out that one of the sites it is hosted on is chuck full of flash gaming goodness. Not only does this site, Albino Black Sheep, have classics like Spank the Monkey, Cursor Love Bunny and Kickups, but I also managed to wrangle up a game of Super Monkey Ball Mini. This could be one of the coolest collection of flash games from around the web I have ever come across! If you are exploring the games and find a good one, leave its name in the comments.
More flash crap
Here is some crazy toboggan jumping game. The commentary is pretty good, though the gameplay itself isn't too complicated. I'm sure it's even easy enough for a certain physics graduate student from Brown. Well, maybe not that easy.

Just like home... but with extra monkeys
So I came across this web toon today called College University. I have only seen one episode (Episode 5), but I thoroughly recommend it to pretty much anyone. Especially if your name is Rando.
So go... click on episodes, then click on number five. Then sit back and relax. Then maybe check out the rest of the site.
Beware the Weinermobile!
What do you get when you cross, MJ, Tom Cruise (note: not Crooze), Rosie O'Donnel and the Weinermobile? A really solid piece of filmwork! Take careful note of the depth of each of the charcters. They obviously spent a lot of time researching the plot to ensure historical accuracy.

Man your condiments!
I would just like to take a second to show you this, quite possibly the single greatest flash animation for the purpose of extoling the virtues of a condiment... ever. Seriously, if you click but one link today, let it be this. And make sure you have your speakers turned up.
Chapstick.. for chapped lips?! That's crazy!
Of course, not as crazy as all of the other uses that are out there for common household products.
You can't handle this!
This, by nature of what it is, is too much for you to handle. So don't even try. Maybe if you got somebody to help you with it, then the two of you could handle it together. Then again, maybe not. Maybe you should try to handle something more easily handled, like pizza or arm-wrestling.

Join the NRDSA!
I think running down stairs should be a sport. Not necessarily a futuristic blood sport ala Rollerball or Running Man, but a sport for all ages. One where world class athletes can haul ass down sixteen flights just as easily and often as kindly old grandmas out for their morning stair jog. Granted, helmets should be required and many will not make it due to deibilitating injuries, but ultimately the ends will surely justify the means. Imagine, if you will, a joyous world of championship stair-running-down competitions and physically fit elderly persons.
Here's to the future my friends.
Evil....Eeeevvvvillllllll!
Pretty cool monster sketchbook here. Apparently, they're thethe Creatures in his Head.

Come... play with the monkeys in my joyous kingdom of Neverland!
MJ's back... in stick form. And he's not the one playing for the Wizards either. Nope, he's the creepy one from creepy land.
thanks go out to Pat for this one

Is there anything that Ninjas can't do?
(In case you're still thinking about it, the answer is no... no, there isn't anything that Ninjas can't do.)
Danger Dog strikes again!

Cartoons for smart people
Which is, of course, why I don't read them. If you have ever read Discover magazine, you will no doubt be familiar with the work of Larry Gonick. One of my favorites is all about corrosion... and wave physics.
This link is from MeFi by the way. In fact, most of the links I throw up on the site are culled from various other weblogs and their ilk. So, I think I will try to put up a link sometime in the future to of the source sites. Credit where credit is due you know... I mean, I just gather it.
Arrested for possession of registered letter receipts!
...and everything else you ever wanted to know about the scandolously secret life of the man known as Henry Ford. All this and more thanks to our good friends at the FBI.
On a side note, how does one actually acquire the job title "FBI Information With-holding Sharpie Weilding Guy". What a great job! You get to learn about all sorts of cool secret crap, and you get to cross stuff out. It's the best of both worlds.

He looks like more of a winter to me...
...goes well with a red light saber you know. Whether a computer ate your homework or a little green guy is kicking you around, there's never been a better time then now to Switch.

Painting is like math
And straying outside the lines is for lefty-pinkos. Yep you heard me... follow the damn numbers!
Hey! Were world famous!
World famous rioters that is. And, thanks to those ever vigilant detectives over at the Badger Herald, we can finally settle the lingering question of "How could something like this have happened?"
Answer: "the effects of alcohol".
I can sleep easy now, knowing that the truth has finally been revealed.

Flashdance for the masses
Since everyone doesn't visit MeFi on a regular basis, here are some cool flash sites and games that were posted on there today.
...right here is where I would normally say something funny and insightful, but I am just too damn busy right now
