Beware!
Friends don't let friends play D and D.

Is that a giant carrot dresser in your room?
Or are you just happy to see me? Since Jess and I will be moving in together soon, I am pretty sure I am going to have to say goodbye to some cherished pieces of furniture. On the top of that list is a driver's seat to an '87 Astro Mini Van. If you know of someone who can give it a good home, give me a holler. However, this does mean that we get to buy some new furniture... I say screw Ikea, I want Straight Line Designs.

Working man
It's good to be back in the swing of things. Got to go climbing the other day, and I am planning on going again tonight. Starting to use the shoulder again a little more. Basically, I am glad to not be sitting around on my butt any longer. Unless, I am sitting around on my butt watching a movie. Like the Boondock Saints. If you haven't yet seen this movie, come over to my place and borrow it from me. It is solid. Much like that Marmaduke comic this morning.
word.

Learning English can be fun
When you mix learning with flash animation! Watch out for that lion!
Cell phones for the easily bruised
I guess that, with the arrival of this, there is no longer a need to tape foam padding around all the corners of your phone. Looks kind of funny though.

He's baaaaack.
So, the trip to Florida was fantastic. It is nice to get away from everything once and awhile. The only bad part about it was these crazy killer ducks that kept chasing us whenever we stepped outside on the patio of our hotel room. Then they would sit at the screen door and hiss at us. I tried hissing back, but to no avail. In hindsight, a good swift kick to their no-pants-wearing donald duck rear ends would have sufficed.

Help Rob become the ultimate shopper!
If you shop at a Safeway for your groceries, Rob will give you a copy of his UPC code on his safeway card. Then, just cover up your UPC code with his and join in the Borgian Shop Collective. You still get the discount, and the concepts funny. What's not to like.
Bill Keaggy is bill-crazy!
I have always really like this site. I just think the layout is spectacular. Plus, you get to click stuff where you have an inkling of what is going to be there, but you don't really know for sure. Kind of the same thing as those chocolate advent calendars, but much, much better. Plus, he collects other people's grocery lists.
Appreciating our soldiers.
In the midst of all this talk of war/not war/naked pool party, it is easy to forget that there are thousands of folks out there fighting the good fight. Whether you agree with the current possible war or not, it's always good to let the our troops know you care.
Ever wanted to name your evil posse?
Now you can with the superhero and villain organization name generator. So, do it now before I gather up my fellow Cursed Explorers and beat the tar out of you. All this and more on the greatest name generator site in the world. (evil or otherwise)
Too bad it can't emulate DDR
If anyone cares, mame is an excellent arcade game emulator that covers most cabinet games and all the neo-geo games from the last 30 years. Nothing like sitting back and playing a quick game of 1944 to get the geek flowing.
Directions for having fun:
1. Download emulator
2. Create login name
3. Download roms (store in roms folder - don't bother to unzip)
4. Play roms - acknowledge geekdom
What has box so excited?
I don't know. Why don't you check the daily archive and see for yourself. Or better yet, just ask him; you uncaring jerk. Man, I'm sick of you people, and your apathy towards the cute and cuddly characters of boring3D, and the three-dimensionally rendered world of adventures that lies therein... truly, truly sick.

Well, that sucked
Just got back from my Semiconductor Physics test. I guess it wasn't too bad, though it would have been nice if we had been given enough inital information to actually come up with a numerical answer (as was expected). Nobody finished in the hour limit, though the prof said that would happen. Sometimes I wonder why people don't just write shorter exams then. Oh well. Enough complaining. Now that the exam is over, I can finally post some more crap.

No posts for awhile...
You may (or may not) have noticed that the page has not been updated as of late. That is due to the big exam I have on Friday. My slack time is currently being spent studying instead of cruising the web. Also, I am off to sunny Florida next wee, so no updates there. Though I'll tell you all about it when I get back.

Hosed up my hip yesterday
But the skiing was really good, so it was worth it. I think, though, that I may just have to take a week off so I am not incapacitated over spring break. Nobody likes cruising around sunny Florida in a full-body cast. Nobody.
I need to get a real mouse
This touchpad laptop thing is killing me. I mean, it's fine when I want to just cruise around the web clicking nilly-whilly, but when there is serious life-or-death car-crash-avoiding clicking to be done, this measly little touchpad just doesn't cut it. I guess all of them cars are just going to have to fend for themselves.
Like chess... but weirder and with warlords
I haven't been posting too much this week due to my schedule. Plus, I am trying to get home sooner and watch all the DVDs I have been renting. I highly recommend Big Trouble if you get a chance to see it. It's got Nick from Cheers in it. Anyway, here is a pretty cool little turn based strategy game where you control some Gauntlet type characters and you try to beat up other Gauntlet type characters. I guess the cool part is that the whole thing is done in flash.

Why don't you stop by and visit sometime?
In case you have never been to the greatest state in the US, check out this hand visitors guide to Minnesota. Though they did forget to mention cheese-on-a-stick.
Peace... to the extreme!!!!!
So, there are some new peace rallies coming up soon, and I think I am going to try and take in a few of them this upcoming week. I am hoping you will all find some time to join me...
It's the Truckar!
Well, not quite, but it is the best Car and Driver review I have ever read in my entire life of review reading. And so what exactly is the Truckar you ask? Well, my friends, picture the roomy passenger space of a truck combined with the luggage capacity of an economy sized car! Best of both worlds!

Email continues to be down
My email acount at school, along with 32,000 others, is currently out of commision, tenatively until Wednesday night. I didn't realize how email dependent I was until I don't have it anymore. If anyone wants to get ahold of me, just leave a comment in this thread. I will check back periodically. Otherwise use the smoke signals we agreed upon earlier.
